EU Airline Refund and Compensation Policies Became More Traveler-friendly


It opens a new avenue for millions of disheartened EU air passengers after Ronald Huzar and James Dawson marked a glorious victory over Jet2.com and Thomson Airways respectively. In the European Union alone, two million passengers face flight delays every year and mostly due to technical faults.

Supreme Court’s ruling in the mentioned two cases now liberates the passengers to apply for a refund even within an extended time period of six years from the original date of the event and also allows them to claim compensation for flight delays caused by routine mechanical or electrical problems.
