Air passengers were delayed for ten hours after firefighters doused the wrong plane with foam.
Emergency services mistakenly covered the wrong plane with foam while it was on the ground at Fuzhou city airport in China.
Unfortunate passengers had to wait ten hours while airport staff cleaned off the foam, which is used to put out fires.
Firefighters had responded to reports of sparks flying from the engine of a plane that was taxiing at the airport.
However, they mistakenly doused the wrong plane with foam, which led to 30 flights being delayed.
The report of an engine problem had come from an Air China Boeing 737-800 plane bound for Beijing, but firefighters mistakenly doused a Fuzhou Airlines plane of the same make which had exhaust fumes billowing from its tail.
